ABOUT THE ROLE: Great food is one of the biggest reasons people come to The Rock Store. As a Grill Team Member, you help deliver food guests are excited to eat, recommend and return for. Whether preparing ingredients, cooking on the line or making pizzas, your work shapes our reputation. Start with a primary station and grow into others.

WHAT THIS JOB IS: - Taking pride in food: Follow recipes, portions, cooking procedures and presentation standards. - Being part of a kitchen team: Communicate and support teammates through busy service. - Learning your craft: Understand ingredients, preparation, food safety and why standards matter. - Owning your station: Keep it clean, stocked, organized and ready. - Paying attention to details: Quality, ticket accuracy, temperatures, portions and timing. - Continuously improving: Accept coaching and pursue additional station certifications. - Respecting ingredients: Reduce waste; handle food and equipment responsibly.

WHAT THIS JOB ISN'T: - Just showing up to cook. Prep, cleaning, organization and teamwork count. - Doing things your own way instead of following recipes. Guests deserve consistency. - Sacrificing safety or quality for speed. - Refusing feedback or learning. - Leaving a mess for the next shift. - Competing between stations. Prep, Line and Pizza succeed together.

STATIONS: Prep — ingredients, recipes, portions, labeling, rotation and readiness. Line — accurate cooking, tickets, timing and consistency. Pizza — dough, toppings, safe oven operation and bake/presentation standards. These are specialties, not separate hiring roles. SUCCESS: Great consistent food, safe efficient operations, clean stations, controlled waste and strong teamwork. WHO THRIVES: Hardworking, attentive, dependable and eager to learn; previous commercial kitchen experience helpful but not mandatory.
